Picked up my first snowmobile. Been sitting for a few years.
Pulled the carb and cleaned it, found a mouse nest in the air intake box. Cant seem to find anywhere on the net or the forum on the procedures for setting the three cables going into this carb or where to set the large set screw on the top. It has a Teikei Y26W-2x1 carb.
Please help

If you are still interested here is the information.
You should have two cables running to the side of the carb, one is for the throttle and one is for the oil pump. The other (third) is for the TORS which I will not comment on for now, let me know if you need more information about it.
The oil pump is the crucial one, the throttle cable is to help setup idle speed and then throttle cable freeplay.
You pull up on the oil pump cable and then measure the distance from the end of the plastic on the cable to the top of the adjuster screw it should be 21-23 millimeters. The engine idle speed should be adjusted first then the throttle cable freeplay and then the oil pump setting.
As for the two screws on the top of the carb are the pilot screws and the intial factory setting for them is 1 and 3/8 turns out from when you just seat them.
You might have a sticker under your cowling that also states this.
Let me know how you make out.
How is Cameron doing?
