fixing cylinders

where is the best place to send a cylinder to have new skirts put on? i have a 780 cylinder that the skirt busted off.

I have heard many people have been very satisfied with the work performed by both U.S. Chrome and Millenium Technologies. Both companies should be able to handle this type of repair. I have not used them myself (so far lucky enough to not need cylinder repairs).

If you have a skirt broken off, a plating shop may not be able to help you. Can you post a picture? If it is an older cylinder with a cast iron sleeve, it will need a replacement sleeve. If it is a plated cylinder, it may be able to be sleeved. Or it might be that it would be best to get a different cylinder.

Midway in Wisconsin Rapids should be able to do it if it is repairable.

send it back to who ever made it to begin with, they will probably have more insight as to why it happened aswell!!!
