As delivered my SXR overreved and I learned to live with it. Over the years and miles it got worse as the clutches wore. It was reving as much as 9,500 at times and I finally rebuilt the clutches and added some extra weight to the tip of the weights. I bought new 8DG weights and used stock riviets in the inner hole and increased the outer riviet weight from the stock 2.4G to 2.7G now it is reving avout 8,800 to 8,900. The secondary is wrapped as delivered which is where I'd like to keep it. I'm thinking about going to 3.1G on the tip, anyone ever try this set-up? DT
