question on ski-doo modular helmet

I have a chance to purchase i believe a one time used mod 1 helmet..lady purchased 1.5 years ago, and used once last year..mint condition...$100.00..does anyone know what the difference is between the mod 1 and mod 2 helmet? is it worth me saving up more for the mod 2? i think its mod 1 because on the helmet it doesnt say mod 2..thanks
 

i dont think its a modular 2

the helmet says advanced tec on top of the helmet...is this the older one? maybe im better off saving my 100.00 and waiting for the mod 2?
 
can you post a pic? didn't know there was a 1 and 2, mine dosen't say 1 or 2 on it.. 1 of the best you could buy imo.. go for it you won't regret..
