I want to remove the blue anodized paint off a pair of RX1 traction brackets, would aluminum paint stripper (real strong stuff) that i used on my tunnel work?.................James

it will be rough. you can wet sand it smooth again then polish it, but that will be a lot of work. if you want a different color i think yamaha has them in red or black.

Thats ok i was just trying to get the aluminum look to go with my stripped tunnel on my 2000 SRX, oh well blue it is, thanks for the info IROC ;)! .......James

I found it hard to believe also but it doese realy work i was told to do it when i was stripping ome go-cart parts. i was amazed it realy works ;)!

Hey Reaper. Sand Them First With 120 Grit (all In One Direction) Then Use
220 Grit, Then Go To A 400 Grit And Then To A 1000 Grit. Polish With Metal Polish, And The Result Will Be "the Chrome Look" Trust Me I Know I Have Done It Lots Of Times. Anodized As Well.
