Or you may want to try the PIAA Plasma white, or Hyper white. The bulb has a very light shade of purple to it and I believe has a Xenon halogen gas charge.

I have white 80/100 for $22.00 shipped
Bruce

Are these just a plug and play unit? I would assume they would work for a dual bulb setup as well? (viper) Is white the only color you carry? Thanks.

Would these work in a 98 SRX?

Item #: BL-43C130
Size: 100/130 Watt
Color: Clear
Price: ($19.95)

Mega Clear Halogen Brite Lite, 130/100watt P43t base- H4 (3-prong) - The Flame Thrower- Use only in single headlight sleds with no headlight cover or shield. Brightest clear bulb you can buy! Must have a 240 watt alternator.

I'm no expert but thats seems like a pretty high drain to add to the system. If you want a piercing white bulb switch over to an HID system. You can get a 35watt ballast, rectifier and bulb for less then 40$ online, and it will still be brighter then the 100watt halogen.

Picked up a Philips brand bulb at Farm & Fleet. It is an X-treme Power and is the best "standard" wattage I have tried. It's very white....just before any blue hint would start to show up on the kelvin scale. It's a 67/60 watt and have had ZERO problems w/ it. Had a 100/90 watt Arctic Purple before and it was melting the plug. Had to replace the bulb and the plug.
Mine is an H4 but they have all the different bases......h1, h7 etc etc.

neither am i, but i totally agree with you!! i have changed the stock tailights out with a 6 bulb led strip, so that draws less on the system. so maybe i will be okay going to 100/80....hmmmm

As long as the wiring, bulb mounts, and housing can take the extra heat from the bulb

PIAA bulbs draw less power. I use the Xtreme White Plus These bulbs draw 60/55w and the output is rated at 110/100w. I also run a led taillight to help reduce the electrical load. Running a bulb that consumes a true 100/110w on a system that is desined for 60/55w will produce an overload on the system which may result in melted wires and plugs or stator failure.

There a bit more than that. I'm thinking somewhere @ $18 . And our F & F in Rockford carries the ECS, regular and Iridiums. The wife hates it when I go in there though................."Ughhhhh, now what the f@$% ya gonna buy !"
