Does anyone know a aftermarket silencer that will work around the reverse linkage. The hauck growlers wont work tried them would a bender silencer clear the linkage and chain case.

i may go that route yet but id rather not modify them untill i find something that will just work my welding skills leave something to be desired lol. i dont want to hack them up since theres probably someone that would love to have them as is. thanks for the advice and pics though

I had a Bender can on my SRX with reverse...I can't remember everything I had to adjust as I did the SRX reverse installation with the Bender can at the same time. I did cut the large tabs off of the chaincase cover but I'm not sure what other issues if any that I had.
I now have Aaen pipes on it and there are no interference issues.

yeah i think a bender single can would definaty work because the silencer is directly above the exit hole so you wouldnt have the three cans all bunched up around the reverse linkage. I definatly want a can that exits the stock hole to.

Bender would be the one I'd say to be the best bet for the reason you stated, the can itself is over the exhaust hole and away from the chaincase. My MBRP can did not fit as well as I'd hoped and had to have the side of it dented in a little to fit.

I have a "Black" SRX Bender can[not the nickel plated one] in real good shape, was used less then one season that I would sell for $100.00. Any one interested PM me.
I will be away for a couple days[until thurs] so be patient I will get back to you.
