I am replacing my bulk head (smashed a rock) on my 2000 SXR700. No problem since the same bulk head was used on lots of years. Except I find a bulk head from what the guy says is a late model viper. Almost every bulk head I have seen has the ears that stick up off the top to mount the shocks. (Where the end of the shock would have a fork style end) This one doesn't have the ears, just a threaded hole at the top.
A. Is there a shock bracket that mounts to that hole?
B. I am putting in flox floats anyway, would this Bulk head work for mine?
C. What the heck year did this come off of (says trailing arm model) I can't find in fische.
Thanks!

Well
When you smashed the rock did you ruin the front cast section of the bulk head? If no then just remove the viper one and install yours.

if it has a threaded hole and no upper ear, it is from a srx. if it has ears and no rest for the head pipe to rest on, and the bolt hole spacing is wider at the radius rod mounts, its a viper. if it has ears and a rest and a threaded hole half way down the side for sx shock mount, its an sx/vmax/venture.
