srx 600 or 700

Im new to this site but not to wrenching on sleds...I picked up a 98 srx 700 for a grand... was looking threw threads. put couldn't find easy ID info ....trying to make sure my 700 isnt a 600 under a 700 cowl

I can't tell you exactly where it is but I believe there is a cc size cast or stamped on the engine somewhere that will tell you.Obviously the 700 would be 696 and the 600 is 59?.

698 maybe. That would be the 700 motor.
