I am in the process of changing my carb on my Enticer 250 and I am having trouble making the mikuni throttle cables work with my current stock throttle set up. It almost opens the slide all the way and it closes it all the way but there is no slack. I don't know if it has no slack that it will just take off by itself or if the slide is closed then it will just idle. But anyone have any suggestions on a different throttle for the handlebars? This one just doesn't have enough range of motion. Also any suggestions on jetting? I was told the current jets in a 34mm mukuni will not work. Let me know. -Jake

What size Mik?
76-77 Exciters had a single cable that pulled a single big Kiehn roundslide. The throttle block from one should have enough range of motion to pull a 38 Mik and the oil pump cable from one should run your pump.

I am running a 34mm mikuni vm carb and cannot run my oil pump anymore so I am going to premix. Do you think a throttle block off a phazer 2 or 92 exciter would work? I also have one off of a enticer 340 from the late seventies. Will any of these work? Also do you know what size jets I should use for my 34mm mikuni on my Enticer 250? Let me know.
I had the exact same problem with my current switch to mikuni. I will post pictures of what I did - I had to pull out the dremmel...again, I'll post pic's tonite. Quick question for you - what premix ratio you gunna run with this? That's one thing I want to get right.....40:1?

I was thinking around there. I was going to ask people on here what I'm suppose to run it at. Thanks for posting pictures, I look forward to it.
Dang forgot the pictures. Will try tonite - took it for a ride the other nite and it flies.
UPDATE - still too stinking cold to run to the acreage for pictures! -29C

What jetting did you use? I'm at about 900ft above sea level. I have a 34mm mikuni.
