I am always looking on Ebay at different stuff. A little of everything.
Right now there is a '00 SRX 2300 miles, 30 bids, more bids on that sled than any other yamaha sled on Ebay right now. ALOT more! They are still really desired. The sled is in "fair" condition at best kinda rough actually. The bid is already up to $1500+.
In comparison I bought mine at the beginning of October, 2376 miles and from what I see mine is near perfect, no flaws at all. I paid 2K. I almost want to put mine on Ebay- NOT!!! hahahah

Sale prices for SRX's at Last couple auctions.
1998 YAMAHA 700 SRX snowmobile $ 1,425.00
2000 YAMAHA 700 SRX snowmobile $1,125.00
2001 YAMAHA 600 SRX snowmobile $ 1,700.00
2002 YAMAHA 700 SX VIPER snowmobile $2,300.00

Going off of the sale bid. They must have gotten year or cc's incorrect. I did see another 2004 600 cc Viper. I said "no way" However in the photo it did look extremely clean. Al

They are hot sleds, but they are not selling for all the cash right now. If that 2000 sells for much more than $1,500, he's doing good. $2,000 is about all you would get for yours if that. My '01 was near flawless and I let it go for $2,100. Low to Mid $2k's seems to be the max dollor for the newer SRX's.

I HATE TO SAY IT, BUT THIS GREAT SNOWMOBILE IS HEADING FOR SAME FATE AS ALL THE OTHER BIG TRIPLES OF THAT ERA. UNLESS YOU HAVE ONE IN THE BOX STILL, AND YOUR ON A FISHING TRIP, THEY CAN BE BOUGHT PRETTY REASONABLE. FRIEND OF MINE BOUGHT A 98 SRX 600 FOR A SONG AND WE ARE HAVEING A GREAT TIME GRASS RACING IT. THEY ARE OLD NEWS NOW. 3:16 (yammie tony)

That's what they are selling for around here. I bought my 2002 with 2300 miles for 2,200 and I would say it's a 9 out of 10. Earlier in the year I picked up a 01 with 2100 miles for 1,200 it wasn't perfect so I sold it and made a little bit of money on it. You pretty much have to give these or any triples away. Nobody want's the heavy three cylinders anymore. I just looked up their weights in an old shootout because I have been hearing that the SRX is lighter then the other triple triples and I was a little surprised.
ZRT 800 623 lbs
SRX 614
XCR 609
Mach 608

That SRX weight you posted is NOT the dry weight of the sled. SRX's are right around 560 dry. I have measured them on our scale. The 03 RX-1 we had weighed 609 on our calibrated scale right off the showroom floor.

AND THAT WAS LITE COMPARED TO THE THUNDER CAT, VMAX 4, ZRT, AND MACH Z. SO NOW 8 YEARS LATER, COMPARE A SRX AGAINST TODAYS STUFF. F-7, XP r, POLARIS RUSH etc. SRX STILL HOLDS ITS OWN. 3:16 (yammie tony)

I just got my SRX a month ago and while researching getting one I had seen a dealer online auctioning a brand new 2000 in the shipping crate they found in the corner of their shop for like $7000
