I am considering purchasing a neck protector for my wife and am wondering if anyone has had any experience with these. She had neck surgery a year ago and her neck strength has never returned to normal. She is worried it will make her feel "too claustrophobic". Do these really allow for normal range of motion and are they worth the trouble? Have seen the SIXSIXONE Neck Nut and NECK PRO-tector. She wears an HJC full-face helmet.

Try a hockey neck protector. They used to be reasonably small and non-restrictive.
DOK, I think he means one that wil help to support the weight of the helmet. Not something to protect her neck from Debris.
