Does anybody know how long the tie rods are on a standard 121 viper with the wide front end? Also if someone knows the tie rod length's on a mountain Viper that would be good too.

mtn and short tracks are the same at 17 7/8", according to my notes.

Hmm. The ones that were on my 04 MTN, were 16 1/8" +- 1/8"
I have heard the SRX ones are longer? You wouldnt happen to know the length would you?

just under 17 1/2", but a little more than 17 3/8". yours would measure out to be at the mtn max length, just a hair under 16 1/4".

Well thanks a ton for the help! Im headed to the local snowmobile salvage yard tomorrow to get some tie rods, and now i know what ones may work best.
i have a set of both viper and srx rods, and i am still in need of a viper spindle or two. food for thought.
there is a 44" kit out there offered by someone too.
