I have an 02 viper and recently purchased the kimpex arrow skis. The mounting bracket has a rectangular hole in it where a plastic shim appears to go. I cannot get the bolt too line up when I have the shim inserted. If I take it out it lines up fine.
Should I compress the rubber piece down on the shim to make if line up or remove the shim? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

When i installed the arrow skis on my SRX I had to trim the little lip thing off the OEM rubber to make it fit. Also you might have the mount shoe backwards.
The rubber is different on the SRX than the Viper, and the mounts for the Arrow skis are different between the 2 also, He needs someone to post their experence installing them on a Viper because there was no instructions.

I was able to get the skis on successfully. I had to loosen the nuts on the mounting bracket, this allowed it to rise so the plastic shim was flush and then the bolt was able to go through normally. Good to go. thanks for everyone's help
