dose any buddy know who rebuilds OHLINS shocks.i got my sons 98 srx all done & got my old girl in the garage & thers a big diffs b/t the two frontends. his sets good with good sag when pushing down on bumber.mine too much sag up & down really too dame spongy.my sons sled has about 1200 miles on frontend well the hole sled.i got the ohlins of a friend sum time back thaywhere road hard came of 99 sx.any info & prices would help THANKS
ps the shafts r clean w/ no rust.

pm bjowett from 4 stroke side. Seriously. The guy knows Ohlins as well as anyone and doesn't charge as much.
I've also dealt with Mike Carver from Carver Performance and he is excellent. He ran Yamaha's race tram for years.

thanks for the great info guys
.i called pioneer performance they want 60 bucks a shock.thats a good deal.I took my shocks of & then the springs & check the rods good valving .the real kicker is i broak a radius rod a long timeago & replace it with a xtc frontend.no longer 40'in' now 42'in' the shocks are laying a little flatter
. i for got all about this sorry guys.i gave them moor spring pressure & gave them 17 clicks on the piggy it seems too help it

If you flip your top shock brackets upside down and switch them from side to side that will shorten the distance between your top and bottom shock mounts a bit. You'll have to do a little shimming behind the bottom bolt on your top bracket with washers but it will work.

sorry sasksrx i've been busy the last couple days to reply.i got a viper rear sked & i bought the front brackets like maximum prfm uscd to sell 4 the SX sleds. on the front too raise it up about 3'in i know it's the same travle.thank u though.
