Huck, Gage Bilt and Hanson would be at the high end of the Rivet guns. I did see a gun in the Northern Tool catalog than appeared nice for a pretty good price......Sunex was the name on it. Check out bylerrivet.com .....good selection of brands.

Out of those three....amazingly enough, the cheapest one (Alcoa) should be just fine.

Some Clecos and Cleco pliers makes fabricating quite swifter.

Go with a Jet brand they work very nice. Less wasted rivets.

Thanks. I going to use it to rivet 4.8mm steelrivets so that gun must be good for that job.

I bought the harbor freight 1/4 #98898. It is the bigger of the 2 they offer. It is made by Central Pneumatic. It cost me 90 bucks. So far I have put close to 150 to 200 rivets back into my sled doing a rebuild. I've used all stavix brand steel rivets and the gun pulls flawlessly and have had 0 problems W/ it. I highly recomend this gun a couple of the guys recommended me this gun from this website.
