Is the any other clutch mods to do with stock weights rather then going to go to heelclickers on a stock viper s ,Ive done the helix and green spring before on my other vipers ,worked good but would like a little more without changing factory weights.
On my 02ER I added a 4.5 gr. rivet in the tip, 51/43 helix. and green spring at around 1,000 miles. Still pulls 87-8900 rpm with 13,000+ mi. on the odo. In stock 121 config. and 144 1.325 studs she'd pull 119-123 mph on the dream meter
Change tip rivet to 4.5 grams plus peen a small 1 gram washer between the rivet & weight.
Let er buck!

For the helix do you used an 51/43 rx1 helix or something else.

The multi angle helix may work in certain conditions for drag racing, but will not backshift as well for all around riding.

Are you suggesting something else than what Turk said ?

Going to buy a helix soon so need to get the right one ! Already have the 4.5 rivets and washers done so next is the helix . Snows here got 6 inches yesterday. Oh ya I have a 47 /41 roller rooster would that be any good at all for the viper ?
47/41 way too seriousely steep for a viper. I run shallower then that in my turbo sled.
