I have a 1/2" block of aluminum I'm going to make reed spacers for my '98 600 twin....
My question is how thick can I make them???
I've seen 1/4" and 3/8" for sale..... I just dont know the advantage or disadvantage of a thicker spacer!!!
can I make them 1/2" thick???

Make em exactly 1/4" thick. Thicker spacer will lose throttle response.
