OK, this one stumps me.. reading manual for my sxr700... says factory settings for proaction suspension is set for "average riders weight".. my sled is set to factory specs as far as i can tell.. now what in the heck does yammy consider average riders weight? LOL.......im 195 in my bday suit, not sure if that average, above average or dare i say"below average....hAHAHAHAH.. :bump: I like to keep everything spec and go from there.... i dont ditch bang at all.....

The average rider weight that suspensions are set to is 160, this includes motocross, road bikes and 4 wheelers. This may have changed in the last 2 yrs, but 160 has been the baseline for a long time.

Thats why Bethevipers suspension setup instructions works so well..it caters to each individual situation.

I remember reading 175lbs somewhere just recent while doing research on set ups. But im not sure about the rest of you but i havent weighed 175 let alone 160 since i cant remember. Do what bob says and follow BTV's su. CCC
