Hey guys, i have mtn. perf adjustable fuel screws on my viper, i removed the carbs and one of the screws is stuck so i can't turn the adjuster knob and i don't know how to get it out now that it's stuck, anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

the cable for the adjuster is actually stuck in the metal tube
Try getting some liquid wrench or something similar down the tubes to free up the cable.

i've been soaking it in pb blaster since yesterday and i still couldn't get it to free up, i finally resorted to pliers and some pretty good force but it finally broke free and is working good now.

i never did like the remote fuel screw adjusters. i could never get them to work right for me. i'd rather just deal w/taking carbs off and adjusting the screw w/screwdriver.
glad you got yours to break free and working good for you now.

i didn't purchase them, they were on my bigbore viper when i bought it and i had to rejet because i'm putting pipes on it. The previous owner left the stock exhaust on it. They seem like they will work fine but i agree it's not really that much of a hassle to just take the carbs off and do it. Mopar, do you think you could help me with the clutch setup on my viper? It's a 780 Hauck engine with hauck pipes and a 136 in suspention with a 2 in track, the current primary has a Hauck over drive sheave, hauck x weights and the secondary has a green spring with a Hauck v helix, i don't know how well this would work but i also have 8bu-00 weights, a couple other helixes, a set of heavy hitter weights and few misc springs to work with if the current stuff doesn't work, if you could help me out at all that would be great thanks
