I ALWAYS fog my motor and stabil my gas at the end of the seanson, well, when we got back from our WY trip in Feb I just left it on the trailer to let me father in-law unload so I could drive home to the cities, my sled sits about 140 miles away. I was figuring I would be back up to summerize it in a couple weeks. July rolls around and I final get up there and all I did was pour stabil in the gas and spray some fogging oil down the top of the carbs. Went to start the sled on Sunday and could not get gas to the carbs, I couldn't even get gas past the fuel pump. Took the fuel pump cover off and saw bright yellow gas (really smelly), so I soaked up the bad gas and poured fresh gas in the fuel pump and down the carbs, pulled the sled and it ran for about 5 seconds. Then I took a look at the vacuum line....yuck! the gas must have jelled, either way it was not pretty. Took my air compressor at a low PSI and shot spurts of air into the vacuum line, put everything back together and on the 4th pull she came alive. I figured it must have been the vacuum line being blocked and not sucking gas through the fuel pump. Yippee!!

When I rejetted about 2 months to put back to elevation I noticed the carbs were fine from when I sprayed them with fogging oil, everthing was really clean and no hint of trouble. I am gald because I hate tearing down those carbs! Pain in the kester!

I hope your crabs are ok....every year my pilots are clogged in all 4 sleds...if you don't want to tear the crabs apart at least put some gas additive in there...Amsoil makes a great ethanel treatment.....look in my signature for more info on it...it is called quickshot
