i dont have my manual in front of me,but wanted to know if they are accessible without removing the airbox?

to get at the rear ones you really have to remove the carbs and airbox. It may be possible to monkey around and get them loose without removing the airbox and carbs, but they are easy to remove and will save a lot of cussing.

Besides the removal of the box and carbs will only take a few minutes. Much safer to get them out of the way instead of risking damaging them with the wrenches or anything. Besides have you cleaned them this year?
