I am running a 34mm mikuni and I changed my main jet and my pilot to a 220 for the main and a 50 for the pilot. It runs and is a bit boggy in idle. The spark plug looks clean with a bit of oil on it. I would assume it's not getting enough oil? It heated up fast and the spark plug was hot and a bit of smoke was coming out of the spark plug hole when I took it out. I had a gallon of gas in a small gas tank then I used a oil measuring cup and did a 50:1 ratio and dumped it in the tank. I shook the tank and swirled it around and then dumped it in the sled. This was my first shot at pre mixing so I may not have done it right. Should I dump the oil in an empty tank first and then put the gas in and mix it? Is it possible my ratio isn't right and my jetting is? I am not sure what to set my choke at so maybe thats the problem? Any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks! -Jake

hi
No mix it in the gascan dont throw it in the tank because then you cant mix it..Make sure your wires are on right and take the spark plug cap off and cut the wire back new and screw it back on. Or may need new wire and cap.

Use a uni-filter - stock throttle works, just use a universal throttle cable for a mikuni.
