So I have read everything on here about adjusting power valves on a 98 srx 700.
My question is....

I start the sled and then mark the servo while running or after you shut it off?
What is the purpose of starting the sled and then shutting it off?
Then shut it off?
Then loosen the bolts on the power valve?
Then put in a spacer and tighten them till they are tight against the spacer?
Is this correct?
Repeat on all three?

start it up ....turn the idle down til u get under 900 rpms...when you get below that the servo motor will open ....have servo cover off so u can watch it ....than hit kill switch ...make sure the servo pulley dont move when you shut it off ....than mark it .....that will be full open position .....than loosen the 4 allen head bolts 3/4 of the way or so ....and put 2 ...2.5 mm allen wrenches on each side and slowly tighten cables til housing just touches allen wrenches ....and do the same for the other 2 valves ....

Shouldn't he be loosening two allen head screws? The screws that hold the cable end housing to the powervalve housing. Not the powervalve housing to cylinder.

yup you are right fingers got moving faster than the brain ,,,,my bad the 2 allen secrews not the 4 ....
