Heres some pics of my 4.5" riser under construction. I raised the seat 4.5" all the way across. Just need to make the bar the front of the seat hooks under, foam fill the riser, pad edges with foam, and wrap the riser with black marine-grade vinyl from JoAnnes fabric. Next step is the make a vinyl-wrapped foam stuffer block for where the seat meets the tank. Need to find an old couch cushion....
Looks kinda funny now, but the seating positon is way better for easy stand up. Seat height is level with tank filler cap, same as Boss. This is a cheap way to see if I will like the seat position with the next-gen Boss seat.
