I am trying to find a company that will do small lots of zinc w/clear and zinc w/yellow dichromate. I can find companies that will do this but they charge $60-80 minimum. Does anyone know of a company that has a lower minimum charge. From time to time I would like to be able to get just a couple pieces plated without it costing a fortune. Anyone from the site here in the plating business?
If they are parts you can heat with a torch, there is a solder used for zinc. When people either grind off or burn off zinc coating, they can use this to re zinc the area. Might work for you. just do a search I have lost the link.
