Does anyone know what type and size of tubing is used on the old Enticers to show the fuel level on the side or the fuel tank?
Is it just regular clear gas line tubing?

regular clear gas line.. size i'm not sure of though but if i had to guess I'd say 1/4 inch. I'll be replacing the gas lines on my XL-V in the spring since they've become quite brittle over the last 23 years.

I think it's a metric sizing and still available thru the dealer? The 1/4" will work but you may have to use something stronger to clamp it with.

Correct, it is metric. Regular hardware store hose is poor for fuel line use. To get the best quality hose that fits right, buy it from Yamaha.
