I have a 1990 exciter and I am replacing the carb boots with two used ones I purchased from ebay. I was wondering if I can use yamabond to ensure they seal between the carb boot and the mounting surface on the engine. Or could I use something else? I want to make sure I don't get any air infiltration after the carbs.
