The problem is probably that a secondary clutch made for a Phazer-I / II ( 485 cc ) will not work well
on the little 340 cc engine on the Ovation / CS340
Any input ?

It would probably need to be readjusted some to match the 340's abilities,
but that should be it.
However, If you do something like this use a Phazer-I secondary.
It would be matched (diameter/width wise) with the CS-340 / Ovation primary.
