Hey guys... How hard should the engine be shacking at idle? Just got the sled and was a little concerned. Can't tell if the rpm is right as the tach doesnt seem to read below 1000 rpm. Could it be bad mounts?
You want it to idle around 1800,, I myself run mine around 1600,, just runs smother there for me...... (recommended rpm is 1800 +/-100)
what year sled ? does it vibrate in the handle bars while riding? could be crank getting out of phase if its a 98
