When mounting the cylinders on the motor where does the #1 cylinder go? Pto or Mag?

Well that eliminates another thing that could be causing my sled to work great when its cold but not when its warm! I fixed the leak in my mag side head, cleaned up good as Mrviper suggested. Added new gaskets and the sled is still not preforming the way it should!

What am I missing. All the cylinders are the same?

I thought the mag side was always #1 cylinder because that's where your timing is set.If it's the PTO side I just put my base gasket in upside down.Plus my jetting stagger is wrong but everything works fine.So #1 is PTO?Jesus H!!

Yeah they are all 8dn00 on the 98 srx but one of them has # 1 Stamped on it

man on man Kirk..you having problems with your SRX to eh!Mine is sitting now till early next year.Won't pull rpms ,pv's are a problem and maybe servo.Might as well just ride my 600 this season,it never gives me a headache.Maybe it is time to retire the old SRX and put it up on a Pedastol in the front yard.

I have lots of servo motors here, maybe ill swap one out and see if thats whats been bugging the poor girl!
