About to stretch my 02 viper to 136. Have purchased 136x1.5 ripsaw and will do tunnel and rail extensions myself, i work as a sheet metal tech. so this shouldn't be a problem. I was wondering about suspension drop brackets, can i just make plates and drop the aft mounting holes directly down or do i have to alter the other mounting points to keep the suspension geomentry correct.
Come down on a radius from the front bolt. I made a template out of a piece of 3/4 plywood. I held it up inside the tunnel and drilled out the original mounting holes. Then when I was setting the hole in my drop bracket I put a bolt in the front hole and pivoted down to the measurement I wanted on the drop bracket at and bolted it on. The hole should be slightly ahead of the original one. I used that template to drill the centre hole also.

never thought of that but sounds like it should work well. i will post pics when completed, i plan to use all counter-sunk solid rivets to give the extension i nice clean appearance.
Yeh, it works good, the template will keep the bolt spacings set all the same. Looking forward to seeing your pictures. Good luck.
