I just took my first ride on my new to me 98 MSRX 700 it has a 2" paddle camoplast on it, when I nailed it on some good traction, it had a quick ratcheting sound, but only did it the odd time on solid traction. I checked track tension when I got home and found the track hanging down about 1 1/2 to 1 3/4" from the slides without any weight on it, I assumed this is way too loose going from what I read on here! I also noticed the limiters were lowered all the way down to get good transfer, so I tightened them up a bit too before tightening the track. The limiters have about a 1/2 " of thread above the nut for adjustment, as for the track when I tightened it I put 20 lbs on the track and turned the nuts evenly 2 full turns, after that the track sags about 3/4 -1" without weight on it, but seems tight. Hopefully it gets rid of the ratcheting now, but sled goes like a damn, I just got done cleaning my powervalves and adjusting them, and cleaning carbs, changing all 3 plug boots and spark plugs to br9ecs. Now not sure if I want to put on the can I have for it or leave it stock, since it would make more power.

not sure if the MSRX had factory no-slip drivers. If not - add them. Also, all track windows need to be open for them to work. I run my track with about 2 1/2" of sag
