So I need more clearence in the front, I am just pushing snow mad! I have thought about going to the Viper spindles, trailing arms, etc, but I thought I read on here that I could take a SX bracket and flip it and mount it to my SXR and it would give me more clearence. Any truth to this?

Or what can I do it have mre clearence in the front? I feel like a damn plow in this deep snow lol.

Sxr

Differerent shock mounts with the SX bracket you would loose the rubber cushioning on the shock. I went to Viper arms, SX brackets , SRX Ohlins and narrowed my frontend 4" 01 SXR

You won't be able to use your stock shocks with the sx bracket. Also you need to watch how much ski pressure you add by raising the front end, too much ski pressure and it may handle very poor on the trail.

Your angle of attack with the drop brackets may not be helping you,,, may look jacked, but maybe jacking you the wrong way.......

Shorter radius rods would probably lift your front end...but it would also narrow your stance and you might have to change your steering rods also.

I was also thinking about that as well Whammy, I am going to move it down to the other hole and try that.

Yah try that, I think having the sled more level will help the front ride up on the snow vs it being like a wedge and wanting to go under the snow.

I am in the process of adding those fox floats with 98 SX shock brackets, viper spindles, viper trailing arms (thanks to betheviper) with my stock SXR radius rods. Should sit approx 3-4" higher in front. This will match up with the height of the rear which is riding on a Polaris Pro/X skid. I also when installing the rear skid put a drop hole in front (refer to polaris pro/x drop mod) so I beleive I can achieve a better approach angle now at my new ride height... (Going to work with Hatch on a design for a rack steering system after my sled is all together and measured)

I am installing new bulk head now, hope to be out testing all this new crap next week to see if it all works out as planned!
