Just curious what oil everyone is using and what they have had good luck with. I have been using yamalube, but I'm looking to switch to something cheaper. I know there is almost 40 pages on oil in another thread, but I really don't want to read through it.

I have been using Shell Blue oil for the that three years. No problems as of yet. $30 cdn for a 5 liter jug $21.99 when on sale. Not sure what Yamaha lube cost. Try not to go to the dealership unless I have to.

I have been using Mystik from Farm and Fleet. I was never one of those to stay specific to a certain type of oil or anything, but this stuff is cheap and it runs just fine in my sled. I havent had any problems with it fouling out plugs rapidly or anything. I'm not going to tell you its the best oil out there, but for $20.00 a gallon for full synthetic and 2 years of no problems with it, I'll stick with it. Works for me. Just my .02

I called my oil supplier, which a Mystik dealer. For some reason they cannot get the synthetic Mystik oil. But, I can order directly from Mystik. $24.50 gal. I am thinking my supplier is hesitant on ordering in large quantities to aquire a better price. I am interested in the Mystik oil. I will be placing an order at the end of this week for a case.
