HID lights on a 98 Srx 700

Has any one intalled HIDs on a 98 SRX 700 with out a Battery?

I don't thinks it is possible without having problems

Rockmeister on the 4stroke side is working on a unit to make this work. Even if you have a battery the lights will pulse.

If someone can keep us apprised of the progress that'd be great,I've been wanting to do this for a couple of years but the battery issue is holding me up.
