Hi, I am Derek Megraw, I am from SE Minnesota and I lost one of my closest friends last year, Feb 8th 2010 in a snowmobile accident. His name was Cory Allhiser, 33, from Austin, MN. This prompted me to hold a memorial ride in his honor to raise money for his family. And I am proud to say in only 9-10 days last year to set up the ride, we raised $7500 for his fiance, 2 children and his unborn baby. This is now going to be a annual event in his honor but each year we are going to find someone else that has lost their life snowmobiling to hold our ride in honorary memory of and all funds will go to their family because we know what it is like to go through what Cory's family went through. This year on Feb 5th 2011, we will be holding the 2nd Annual Cory Allhiser Memorial Ride in Honorary Memory of Jeremy Zurek. Jeremy passed away on Nov 30th 2010. His family is in the St Cloud / Duluth, MN area.
Anything could do to help us out in anyway would be greatly appreciated!
We are still looking for primary, secondary and co sponsors for the event so if you know anyone interested, it would be great. Everyone who helps will be recognized!

The event is FREE of charge, but in order to be in the activities where you can win money, prizes and get a t-shirt, you must pay a donation fee, we haven't set this amount yet but it should be in the $20 to $30 per rider range.
Remember this is to help out a family that lost a great guy doing what we love, just imagine if this happened to you, this would help your family get closure and help them with the burden of finances left behind, so please show your support if you can!
