My buddy was booking down the trail and ran over a small downed tree across the trail and almost wore his girlfriend of the time like a hat. that being said, he jazzercized one of his yellow precision ski's and said i could have em if i could fix em. i got impatient with them but my dad took some heat and clamps to them and they look like new, i couldnt believe it, excellent work. they look awesome on the sled, just havent had time to ride it this weekend. anyone got experience running these? i heard they are excellent trail skis, but in the powder they arent good.

If you heated them up to fix them, its a matter of time before you get that same feeling of hitting a tree. 500$ max for a set of new skis, and you dont have to worry about when your skis are going to break. Is your life worth 500$ I think so.

oh it wasnt horribly horribly bent, it was just a the slightest tweak to them and he didnt want to mess with them so he just ordered some kimpex arrows. they were just oh so slightly "twisted". i wouldnt risk putting something on my sled that was completely messed up and rigged up to work, i know better than that.

I was with a Doo rider that hit a rock and tweaked his precision ski toward the front just behind the handle. He rode all day with one tip 6" higher than the other. When we got back to the cabin, we stripped the ski down to just the bottom, wrapped wet rags in front and rear of the bend, and then held the ski over a log stove to heat up the plastic. Got to be careful here....not too hot. The we bent it over a table edge. Worked slowly though so as not to heat them too much.
We straightened it out like new! He still rides them now 5-6 years later....

good loose snow skis , but thats about it,,,,, slp's for trail or snow.............
I run them on my XTC 600....
I love the float I get in powder.... cornering and lake riding leaves a lot to be desired!!!
Carbides are expensive when it's time for replacement.....
I have found they push in the corners, you have to run way more ski pressure than you do with a single carbide ski!!!
I have 6" Woody's on the outside and 4" Woody's inside on both skis works ok but not as well as 8" singles on my stock steel skis for cornering.....
I still run them because they are really really fun in the deep stuff, but I will be switching to Sly Dogs next year!!! (only for the red urban camo!!!)
