Dont do it unless you want to rebuild your motor. Leads to ALOT of burn downs....

Yeah I agree leave it stock. Your going to notice a difference for-sure especially with some jetting but it isn't worth it.

Just buy the Thunder Products TPI's. I have them and they work great. I open them on warmer days and close them on colder days. You can adjust in between too. I have the knobby style. Just be careful on piped Vipers. I left mine wide open back when I had the CPR pipes on when it was -4 degrees F. and lost two cylinders. Stock I have ran them down to around the same temp with no issues.
