just measure from 2 equal poins in width on the skis, a few inches in front of the back of the ski and an inch past the bend in the front of the ski works well

got it now.Yes you can measure from the stud of the carbides on the ski's.Your toe out should be between 1/4" to 1/2" max.
JUST A NOTE: When you do the adjustment for toe out..make sure tank is full,place weight on the sled equal to you fully dressed and then set your toe out,other wise it will be to much when you sit on the sled.Notice how the ski's toe out when you sit on your sled..try it sometimes.

Not boring at all, very good read. Did both my vipers this year. Got to ride the 04 today and man what a difference. It was wwwwaaaayyyy better. Just had to make a few fine adjustments but way happy. Thanks BTV. CCC
