Finally Quit Smokin

Way cool, good for you ;)! I quit chewing a year and half ago after 20yrs. Hardest thing ive done. Keep at it you wont miss it all. And all the people that ride those sleds, especially the little sled will be glad you did ;)! ;)! CCC

I mean I quit smokin oil out the exhaust. Picked up a 07 Attak with 3k on it. Only mods were the windshield bag, handguards and mountian skis with daulies.Went for a short ride today with it. Its going not need some modding. Headlights are not so good. High beam is nowhere to be found. Handwarmers are not that warm. Definately going to need picks and some skid work( idlers and wheel kits).
It sure runs nice and takes the bumps alot better than my Viper with revalved shocks,136 skid and a few other fixes on it. ;)!

good for you, nice sled, you will love it . i have a 07 apex gt and love it! wished i got the 136" track though. the only thing that sucks with these sleds is they dont rail in the corners like the 2 strokes! but be careful because these sleds have a tendency to push in the corners, when they do hook in the corner your higher center of gravity will bring the ski up so fast that you might roll! found that out quick! you need to sign up on the 4 stroke side here if you havn"t already, lots of good info over there. have fun with it!

The attak is no slouch. I rode one before and honestly was very amazed the power these sleds have. Oh and what an amazing ride!!!!!!

I'd like to find one of these guys who aren't happy with their 4-stroke and want to swap for an SRX.....

The attak got renamed and they now call it the LTX.... In 2009 when I bought my Nytro new, I was wanting an LTX but the dealer didnt have one and I just couldnt pass up the deal he was giving me on the nytro

for the hand warmers, pm crewcheif as he is rockmeiser's canadian hot hands distributor. i actually turn my hand warmers off as i find stock too hot unless it is -40 out.

good looking ride!

MAIM your warrior just about run with to my SRX in munising and thats the 140hp motor with a 136

Yep, Yamaheater with boost, $209.95 CAN. Will boost every factory setting and add a thermal nuclear level when the warmers are set to off. Plug and Play means no cutting wires....

i know. it is pretty fast for how i have it set up but i would have bought a srx in a heartbeat if i could have found one i liked at the time.

your srx was no slouch tom but i am having problems with brothers (kirkswims) 136" viper. does not matter if he has the srx bigbore or the stock viper motor in there. frigging thing makes 800cc cat tripple tripple look slow. all he has done is clutching other than a cb kit and the 136.

anyways, enjoy the new ride and i suggest xenon bulbs if you do not want to go hid. made a difference on my sled and i almost cannot stand to ride without them now.

if anyone in your group you ride with has a 2-smoke you will be breathing 2nd hand :2strokes: , thats why on the 4 stroke side the rides have a rule 2 smokes in the rear.i don't pay attention to that rule

yeah, I've been leading the back of the pack for the last two years with acertian group of guys because of that 4 stroke rule

Got my neighbor into a 06 Apex RTX as well. His was a real good find, only 350 miles on it. Them Fox Floats sure do run nice.
