i have a 97 mountain max 700 136" track and the skis kinda ride under the snow and snow flys up and hits me in the face how can i adjust my suspension to get less ski pressure and get the front end up on top of the snow. i mostly ride trails and ditches

that snow in the face is kinda the nature of the beast. too much ski pressure would make it hard to steer. however, by reducing the rear skid shock preload and increasing the preload on the front skid shock(or center shock as it is sometimes referred to) and letting out the limiter straps a bit will help keep the front up. be prepared though that when that powder is gone you will lose your trail steering precision. pay attention and record what position the shock are in now so you can return them to that position. are you running stock skis and are they tapered at the rear or pretty much straight?
im running skis from a 05 rx1 mountain there tapered at the rear
and i found out that the guy i baught the sled from had the suspension adjusted for more ski pressure but they only rode trails a 55yr old lady rode it

then jump on in there and play with the suspension! just dont forget the starting settings. i didnt think the rx-1 mtn skis tapered at the rear, mine dont, unless they changed them. i sorta like the snow in the face. you could always add a taller windshield.
