I have a 2000 srx700 here is the deal , when i start the sled even when its warm , it idles at 2500- 2800 rmps until i touch the throttle, i just barley touch it then it idles back down to 1600 rmps the its fine , it does this every time , im new with these any suggestions?

I dunno... just saying mine does the same. Could be a plugged pilot.

First thing to check is the throttle cable, like suggested above. Easy fix if it's a little too tight...but I doubt it.
Sounds like it's a little bit lean on the idle circuit. If you've had this sled for a couple of years and it's always done this, then I'd take the fuel screws out another 1/8 to 1/4 turn from where they're at now and see if it goes away. This is assuming that you clean your carbs at the start of every season. If you haven't ever cleaned the carbs, then I'd clean them and leave the screws set where they're at and see how it does. If it still does it, then try adjusting the fuel screws.
