Interesting read.. I remember alot of those old sleds and a few others not mentioned,I had an old 75 Mercury. It had a seat on it as long as a couch and the fuel tank was in the back. Had to stop to see how much fuel was left in it... Road like a rock compared to todays sleds...lol...

Gotta love those old sleds! Over the years I had a 1974 Rupp Nitro 440, a 1977 Scorpion Lil Whip, a 1979 John Deere Liquifire, a 1980 SRX 440 (my personal favorite, and dangerous fast), a 1991 Phazer, a 1995 Vmax 600, and now the Viper.
