So I am thinking about selling my 01 SRX but need to get a feel for what it is worth.

It has 5500 Miles with a fresh top end.

Every bearing has been replaced in the skid. The front arm has been welded and gusseted. New Hyfax.

It has the Pioneer long travel shocks in rear. Pioneer extenders in front.

Tons of studs..all good.

Bender Trail Can and adjustable transfer rods.

All shocks were just recharged. Ohlins in the front.

The sled is immaculate. No rips or major scratches. Runs great. Clutched tight.

What's it worth?

im gonna hear it for this but i wouldnt take less than 2500 for my sled and i think i could get it very similar to your with less miles

Prices seem artificially high at the dealers. It is defiantly a sellers market. I wouldn't take less then 2500 for it.

AND YOUR IN NEW YORK ... im looking for another srx please pm i would more willing to pay a fair price for that sled

You guys should be selling in Canada. The prices here are outrages. You would fech a good buck, thats why alot of Canadians head south to buy..

KBB value is $2,485 and NADA is $2,705 avg retail. It seems like the value on these sledes is slowing increasing now or people are paying more for them. I was watching a few 98's on ebay end at $2400. The 98 I bought was $1700 with 4500 miles. It made me feel better!

I would sell my 2002 SRX for $2800. Its in excellent condition. It's all stock with the exception of Vforce reeds, and a little weight added to the primary clutch. I think it has around 2,700 miles on it. It's a very clean sled has a low windshield on it now, I also have a mid height that would go with it. Im in Southwick MA.

I paid $1600 for my '99 here in northern Mich...under 4000 miles but then had to relace $500 worth of rear skid parts....Now it is very near mint sled its spotless cean just poor maint. on previous owners part. Average here for a nice one is $2000-$2500

I am with SRX700guy... closer to $3000 is what it ought to fetch if it is that clean. I think these things have to have bottomed out in value and they will be getting harder to find while it seems they obviously still have quite a following as a budget performance sled for someone doesn't want to spend big bucks (at least not until you catch the modding bug!).

Well I am glad because I thought it would be worth around $2500-$2800. I just don't know if I want to sell it, it is a nice novelty item. They don't go through the bumps but they are fun on the groomers and lakes...

If you don't need to sell it for financial reasons I wouldn't sell it. These sleds are going to become collectors and their value is only going to go up. There are enough of them out there to keep the values lower right now but there are a few that keep biting the dust every year so the numbers will be going down. I have been looking for a nice 2000-2003 Polaris XCR800 but you can't touch a nice one for under $3000 anymore and they are getting very hard to find. If you look on craigslist you would be lucky to see one XCR800 but there will be 5-10 SRX's on there. The 2000-2002 I beleive will be the most valuable ones to have. The 98-99's weren't as fast and had more engine issues.
I don't think my 2000 SRX700 will ever leave my stable unless I really need the money for somereason. It is just used for radar runs now so the miles aren't going to ever get very high on her it has 1900 miles on it now.
