is there any thing different with the Sx 700 engine and the 700 MM engine
other the the track what else is different

Same thing. Different gears, springs, weights, jets....

Depending on the year of the MM motor, the head may have a port on the top for the heated carb option, whearas the 97 SX did not have this. Other than that they are the same as mentioned above.
