my 700 triple has no spark but my wireings were cut and the ones for the coils 1 and 2 were both cut!! and the orange one shocks me help!!
the orange wire is the power supply for your coils. it should be paired with a black wire. each coil has two wires. orange wire goes to the first coil on the right if you are seated on the sled. the black wire goes to the second coil. the other wire from the first coil goes to the third coil. the second wire from the third coil goes back to the remaining wire on the second coil. all the times i have done this there were bullet connectors both male and female so wire orientation wasnt an issue. with you having cut wires, you may need to confirm the wires on the coils arent color coded for polarity.
the orange wire shocks me when i turn over the clutch and the sparkplugs have no spark still help

How did all the wires get cut?
what is the orange wire hooked to and what are you doing to it to get shocked? again, that orange wire is the main power feed from the cdi to the coils.lileazye said:the orange wire shocks me when i turn over the clutch and the sparkplugs have no spark still help
it has been spliced and yeah
the wire is spliced and it shocks me when i hold it when i pull does that mean the stator is good or what!!
language barrier? if your holding the orange wire and its not hooked to anything, you will have no spark at the plugs. if the orange wire has been spliced/repaired and its able to shock you, its probably grounding out somewhere. this would be real hard on both the cdi unit as well as the stator. that voltage is supposed to go to the coils, not you, or anywhere else for that matter. again, is the orange wire connected to a coil or just laying there for you to grab while your turning the engine over?
