Hi and thanks for helping. The secondary and primary offset by the book is 12mm and the offset for the reg. viper is 14mm why is there a difference between the two? Also how do you mesure the offset with the starting ring gear in place. Thanks Tod

They are diff because the ringear sits over the back of the primary sheave about 3MM. So with e start you measure from the front edge of the ringear to the back of the secondary 12MM. And without e start you measure from the back of the primary to the back of the secondary. Secondary all the way to bearing. Should be 15mm per spec.
