Just wondering what you folks thought about dry gas with Methanol in it? I found some in my basement and am considering using it in my sled. Thanks guys.

Everything I have ever heard about methanol is "not" to use it in snowmobiles or any two strokes for that matter. That's just what I have heard anyway. You can also read on the bottles of de-icer that contain methanol not for use in snowmobiles. Key word is "dry".

Hey Bucky! Before you use Methanol in your sled, go to the other Yamaha site and type in "DRY GAS", Very good post explaining the difference between isopropyl and methanol additives. Hope this helps. Soc
Yamaha makes there own dry gas, ring out, and octane booster. Good stuff.
