I have a 2002 MountainMax 700 triple, I sent my engines upper case half out to bender racing along with my cylinders to get ported/polished, he sent it back with the case not modified, he said there was not enough material there to take off, is this true ? I don't think it is, but.....;

I am not sure of what you paid for, BUT most people that I know only have the cylinders tuned up".
If you paid for more than that wel...
If not- Well, we all have opinions of businesses, but out to get you...doubt it.

I never paid any more for it, just had to completely strip my engine to send it out and put it back in, with nothing done, and others I have heard say you can modify the upper case half, so......

They are full of baloney
Theres TONS of material there to work with. Im building 950 Price engines for teh MM top end, and let me tell you, the case porting is extensive. Now, on a ported MM, there isnt much to gain, but there is a couple horse there. --Bob

We questioned that with Bender one time and it was their opinion that the labor and dollars would not justify the horsepower gain. Obviously you would have question what is 2 or 4 horsepower worth to your program when it comes to dollars..
